The importance of trucking is summed up by the saying: "If you bought it, a truck brought it."  The transportation industry has many job opportunities which can pay well.

This Vocational Academic course teaches how to use algebra to understand the physics of modern machines, from trucks, to trains, to power tools, to heavy equipment, students will learn the physics involved, in both a conceptual and mathematical manner.  This course meets and exceeds the rigor of Algebra I, through a Common Core Integrated Math approach, and thus fulfills California's Algebra I High School requirement, and it prepares students for the Algebra portion of the CAHSEE. Further, it follows the Next Generation Science Standards for Physical Science.
