These introductory courses are designed to help new students succeed in their education with Highlands Community Charter and Technical Schools, and can be completed in a set-paced or self-paced manner.

This course helps students at all levels of computing ability to improve their computer and keyboarding skills.

In this course students learn to develop portfolios of evidence, with corresponding narrative, to demonstrate their existing knowledge and skills.  Students learn how to do this in several contexts, including using a portfolio for high school or college credit as well as how to use a portfolio as part of a job interview.

This course includes select economic principles from a highly personalized perspective, such that students learn how to apply these principles to their own lives and career choices.
